Kybella

Kybella, or deoxycholic acid, is an injectable treatment used to improve the appearance and profile by destroying fat cells beneath the chin. This is a permanent treatment that prevents fat cells from ever returning to the treated area.

 

Multiple injections are administered beneath the chin with the injection process taking approximately 5 minutes. The sensation of burning and stinging at the injection sites is common and subsides over time. Topical numbing is applied for 10-15 minutes prior to treatment to allow for minimal discomfort during each session.

 

The exact number of injections will depend on the amount of fat under the chin and desired facial profile. Optimal results are often achieved with a minimum of 2 treatments and a maximum of 6. The number of treatments required varies from patient to patient and can be determined during an in-person consultation.
